Migrate OAF Personalizations From One Instance To Other Instance using Functional Administrator Responsibility

Export Personalization on Source Instance 

1) Set Profile Option "FND: Personalization Document Root Path"


Example: /tmp/custdocs

The path specified by this profile will be used by Functional Administrator Responsibility for importing and exporting Personalization.

 2) Navigate to Functional Administrator Responsibility. Click on Personalization Tab --> Import/Export



Click on Import/Export --> Click on Personalization Repository

It will list all personalizations available in the instance. For example if we want to download personalizations available on Customers select cusstd checkbox as shown in below screenshot.


Click on  Export to File System button. It will download personalizations available on customers OAF pages.


We will get message "Documents Exported".

You can verify by navigating to the path specified in FND: Personalization Document Root Path

Import Personalization in Target Instance

1) Set profile option FND: Personalization Document Root Path as mentioned earlier in Target Instance. This path specified by this profile will be used by Functional Administrator Responsibility for importing and exporting Personalization.

2) Move the files downloaded in previous step to target instance
 example: /tmp/custdocs

3) Navigate to Functional Administrator Responsibility. Click on Personalization Tab --> Import/Export



 Click on Exported Personalizations



Check the checkbox cusstd as shown in above screenshot and click on Import from File System button. You will get personalization Import message.
